It was noted in the League Review - Week 2 that Grange totalled 381 (for 5 wickets) in the first 1st XI league fixture of the season on Saturday at Myreside. This is the highest score recorded in an innings at Myreside, the previous highest being 365 (for 3 wickets) by the 2nd XI against Heriot’s 2nd XI in 1997, while the best by the 1st XI was 349 (for 6 wickets) against Falkland as recently as 2022.

The Grange total was the second highest ever recorded against the 1st XI, exceeded only by the 430 (for 6 wickets) amassed by Lasswade at Mavisbank, Dalkeith in 1889. Grange’s previous best total against the Club was 371 at Raeburn Place in 1888.
