Superb Facilities in the heart of Edinburgh.

The Club are fortunate to have two grass pitches located back to back on Colinton Road. Myreside (pictured) is recognised as one of the leading grounds in Edinburgh. Backed up by the scenic Craiglockhart ground, Wastonian CC can field four playing sides at home over some weekends during the summer.

With four modern outdoor nets, training takes places throughout the summer.

Social Player to International Standard.

At Watsonians we believe in providing opportunities to as many cricketers as we can. That being said, our 1st XI set out to win the Eastern Premiership and subsequently the Scottish National League title.

In recent years, the 1st XI have won the CSL National Championship in 2012, the Masterton T20 trophy in 2015 & 2017 and were also crowned Scottish T20 Champions in 2017. In recent years, the club has provided players to represent the full Scottish National Sides, both men’s and women’s.

Myreside Pavilion – a fantastic pavilion to take in the cricket.

The club are fortunate to have Myreside Pavilion overlooking the grass square at Myreside. The backdrop also gives super views of the western areas of Edinburgh.

Post match the majority of players and friends and family will reflect on matches where opposition teams are welcomed in. The balcony on a summer’s day is a special hidden treat in Edinburgh.

Always open to new players.

Club Captain Michael Carson (pictured) welcomes players of all standards to the club for the 2019 season. Pleasure use the enquiry form to get in touch or send us a message on Social Media for more information.

We look forward to seeing you at nets.
